Ulstein Verft has signed contract for DP System HIL

Ulstein Verft AS and Marine Cybernetics AS has signed a contract for DP System HIL (Hardware-In-the-Loop) testing of two Platform Supply Vessels. The contract for DP System HIL includes of HIL testing of DP Computer System (DP-HIL), Power Management System (PMS-HIL), and Steering, Propulsion and Thruster System (SPT-HIL). This is the first DP System HIL that includes SPT-HIL contract for Marine Cybernetics, and represent an important step forward for our HIL testing service.

The vessel owner is Remøy Shipping in Fosnavåg, and the vessels will operate for Statoil.
